FLYING TO SICILY 

Catania Airport

The closest international airport to Noto is CATANIA (CTA), located about 45 minutes from Noto by car.

There are daily flights directly from London, Paris, Munich and major European hubs with Air France, Lufthansa, ITA, KLM, Ryanair and many more. 

Palermo Airport

An alternative airport to fly into in Sicily is Palermo International airport (PMO). This airport is located 2.5 hours from Noto by car. This could be a second option to consider after Catania airport or if you plan to visit Palermo or the western side of Sicily, prior to or after the wedding.

FLYING FROM...

within Italy

If flying from/to other cities in Italy prior to or after the wedding, most cities in Italy have daily flights to/from catania with ITA airlines.

the US/EU

As of October 1st 2024, DELTA airlines will be offering a new route to their flights and will be offering daily NON-STOP direct flights between JFK & CATANIA airport in Sicily and also between JFK and Palermo starting from May 2025. This is the only non stop direct flight between the US and CATANIA airport (which is the closest airport to Noto) and we believe will be very sought after. 

If NOT flying directly from the US, we suggest taking the ITA airlines from Rome to Catania which is an easy 55 minute flight. There are up to 6 x daily flights departing Rome for Catania. 

Additionally, there are daily flights directly to Catania from London, Paris, Munich and major European hubs with Air France, Lufthansa, ITA, KLM, Ryanair and many more.

Helicopters

There are several helicopter landing possibilities not far from Noto. 

It is also possible to fly via helicopter from/to most parts of Italy directly to/from Sicily. Please contact Cognoscenti Travel below for more information. 

TRANSFER TO NOTO

We suggest booking a car service from Catania airport to your hotel/accommodation and back. It takes about 45 minutes by car from Catania airport to Noto.

(Please note, transportation will be provided to/from all events on September 18th - 20th, both days included. More details will follow closer to the event date). 

We might also suggest renting a car, if you want to discover the area on your own while you are in Noto and want to be able to get around on your own, as taxis are very limited in the area and car services need to be booked in advance.

Cars can be rented at Catania airport, via your hotel and in many cases can be delivered directly to your hotel/villa/accommodation upon arrival.

For car rentals, we suggest checking with your hotel which can provide you with additional information.

*Please note, taxis are not generally easy to find or book last minute in Noto. We highly suggest checking with your hotel and pre-booking this service or alternatively a car service if needed in advance if walking is not an option.
